Have you ever heard of cyanotype?
Are you curious to discover how light, chemistry, and imagination can transform into deep blue works of art?

Art Gallery Finestreria invites you to a unique creative experience: an aperitif workshop dedicated to cyanotype, the ancient photographic technique that allows you to create artistic prints through exposure to natural light.

What We’ll Do
During the workshop, guided by artist Federico Catagnoli, we will explore together:
– A brief historical introduction to the cyanotype technique
– The materials and preparation of light-sensitive papers
– Image composition using flowers, leaves, negatives, and small objects
– Exposure to light and the final printing process

Materials Included:
– Light-sensitive paper for printing
– A customizable tote bag
– Tools, brushes, and chemical products
– At the end, you’ll take home your own handmade creations: prints, tote bag, and T-shirt!

Materials Not Included:
– Any personal items you’d like to experiment with, such as flowers, leaves, negatives, or small objects whose shapes you find interesting

What to Wear
Wear comfortable clothes that can get messy or that you don’t mind staining.

No prior experience is required: whether you’re an artist, a photographer, or simply a curious soul, this workshop offers a space for expressive freedom, discovery, and inspiration.

And to make the experience even more enjoyable, we’ll offer a small aperitif with cocktails and snacks.
