Carte Blanche
Imagine you are sitting in your favorite restaurant, finally after months you have managed to book a table, you want those courses, all, but when the Menu arrives you do not know, you do not want, you can not, choose what to order and decide to start the culinary experience and sensory, Simply by trusting.
“Chef, Carte Blanche!”
It means “do you, you have carte blanche, I trust you, you choose the scents, flavors and colors, that will be the protagonists of my dinner”.
The Carte Blanche menu tends to provide three courses, at the discretion of the Chef, the Carte Blanche exhibition does the same: a triptych with the same subject, represents variations on the theme and leads the observer to deepen each step a different flavor.
IDEM Studio, as if it were a Chef, to whom we have entrusted, through the works on display, accompanies the visitor in a sensory, visual and imaginative journey, through the modeling of the form and the decomposition of the same, deepening the research on color and balance, fundamental in the work of the Turin collective.
The works, refined and complex, represent the theme of still life, revisited once again by IDEM Studio, where fruits, vegetables and fish become the subjects and also the escamotage to resume the discourse started with the pictorial tarsis of Mescolare Bene, exhibited in Turin, Cagliari, Milan and Nuoro, between 2023 and 2024.
Aesthetically bold, articulated and composite, chromatically reworked with vibrant and vivid tones, each of the courses proposed by IDEM Studio is a representation of balance, an investigation into artistic poetics and the continuous search for harmony and synergy, through never random details and formal choices studied and well precise, as the constant repetition of number 3 or the tension from figurative to abstract more marked.
IDEM Studio creates a series of elegant and contemporary works, where the form becomes substance, with the hope of coming out after such a rich proposal, satisfied and pleased, full and with the desire to repeat this experience as soon as possible.
