Afternoon “Portfolio review”: book the reading of your artistic or photographic portfolio in Milan!

1ST APRIL BOOK ONE HOUR FROM 14 TO 18 we will read together your artistic or photographic portfolio in the gallery in Milan (you can make an appointment on request at other times).

Strengths and weaknesses of the document. What should a portfolio look like? We can read your portfolio from the point of view of presentation, graphics and formal aesthetic balance or offer useful advice to continue your research.
The meeting is suitable for everyone: for people who need to start from scratch and understand how a portfolio is made or even for people who already have a structured portfolio and want to understand what to do to improve their presentation.

To analyze your work we will just your story accompanied by everything you have, we will help you to reorder it and understand what can be done to carry out your research.

The Portfolio is the calling card of every artist in particular for the calls, the residencies, the collaborations with the galleries a well structured presentation is necessary, independently from the techniques or expressive means used (painting, photography, video, engraving, installation or performance).

The comparison with experts from the art world enriches the personal research developed by each artist. Meeting colleagues and industry experts could lead to collaborations, exhibitions or other professional opportunities. For pictorial or other works, we recommend the presence of originals or photographs with well-balanced colors or specimens. It is important to observe the work in a real way to understand its true strength.

The reading of the artistic or photographic portfolio is mainly done behind closed doors as it is preferred to give greater space to the intimacy of those present.

It will be viewed in detail by Claudia Ponzi, gallery owner at Art Gallery Finestreria. Depending on each individual artistic research the gallery will select an artist expert in the field who will view the project and offer his experience to give as useful advice to anyone.
